Sell My Roy Lichtenstein Nudes
Roy Lichtenstein Nudes Series, 1994
Lichtenstein’s Nudes bring the traditional female nude into his comic-derived visual language. Bold outlines, geometric interiors and fields of dots connect figures with their surroundings. Developed from comic-book imagery rather than live models, the series revisits motifs associated with his earlier Mirrors, Interiors and Water Lilies.
The series comprises six compositions and three additional State I versions, catalogued as Corlett 282–290. These are original relief prints, a distinction that matters when comparing them with screenprints, posters or reproductions of the same imagery.

Paper, Dimensions and Production
Tyler Graphics Ltd., Mount Kisco, New York, produced and published the 1994 Nudes editions on BFK Rives mould-made paper. Sheet dimensions vary by composition and state. Use the full sheet measurement where available, distinguish it from the frame opening, and match the relevant Corlett entry.
Signatures, Numbering and Workshop Marks
The catalogue records pencil signatures, dates and numbering in the lower-right margin, together with the Tyler Graphics blindstamp. State I impressions also carry a state inscription. Workshop numbers are documented in pencil on the reverse. Review these details together with the image, paper and ownership records.
A familiar image or reproduced signature alone does not establish that an artwork belongs to the original edition. See our guide to identifying original Roy Lichtenstein artwork.
